Too many people let the complex knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology dictate the success (or failure) of their fitness exam revision …

I mean, it makes sense.⠀

If your goal is to pass your A&P exam, then you should be focused on the stuff you don’t yet know, right?⠀

Here’s the problem:

You can’t always control how quickly or slowly you absorb new knowledge.

You could set everything up with the intentions of completing one section from your course manual every week, but only see a messy half completed chapter. Or maybe you don’t complete any revision at all.

Yet… some days you’ll wake up and feel uber motivated and crack out 3-4 hours? and you feel great about your progress.

The fitness exam revision scale is incredibly fickle.

And if it’s this complex knowledge and dense course manual is the thing keeping you UN-motivated on this journey, you’re going to struggle time and time and time and time again.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I actually like all the complex knowledge… I love breaking it down into easy manageable chunk to make it all super simple.

This dense A&P complex knowledge is a fantastic tool for actually getting your real life clients their fitness goals.

But here’s the thing,

The complex knowledge you don’t yet know DOES NOT define you or your progress as a whole.

It’s a journey. Not your identity.

So what’s my advice?

Focus less on what you can’t control and more on what you can.

Focus on what you CAN control, have patience, and trust that your hard work will get you to where you wanna be.
