There is this moment that I’m sure you have come across
Everything is going perfectly, and things seem to be working in your favour.
Something happens and progress seems to slow up.
It’s like you suddenly drop off a kerb…
If you have had this as a new personal trainer, it is probably the excitement kerb.
The bad thing is,
It hits you in your tracks
It comes out of the blue,
It ruins all of the progress you have made so far.
But, you can avoid it happening, and you can reverse the effect of it
This is the Excitement Kerb…
I’ve worked with hundreds of new personal trainers.
I have helped train them and helped them get their new business off the ground.
But what I love about working with new Personal Trainers is their excitement and enthusiasm.
Especially once they start to believe it is all possible.
We have just got to this point in our latest Personal Trainer Course in Milton Keynes
They have been with us for a few weeks and are now ready to start finding clients and start practicing their new skills.
This is a really amazing time…
They see the possibility of leaving an old-life behind.
Leaving behind a job they hate.
They see how simple it actually can be to find ideal-clients
They start to take MASSIVE ACTION
In this excitement they take action daily, and their excitement mounts even further…
They are usually amazed by results, or amazed at their capability.
So they keep working hard, taking action, balancing two jobs and a family and a start up a new personal trainer business.
A handful can keep this momentum. They can keep the high enthusiasm and keep the daily action…
These are the ones that get their New Personal Trainer business off the ground and sky-rocket into the new life they dreamed of.
These guys successfully release their inner coach and go on to help people change their lives.
But, there is a possibility that this amount of emotional build will collide, with a stream of thoughts.[Interested >> FIND OUT MORE]
It all crumbles, and you slide down the edge of the kerb,
You start listening to the haters.
The haters outside your head, and the ones inside your head.
These limiting beliefs lead you to doubt your ability
Doubt your worthiness,
Doubt what you want
Doubt the logic or logistics
Ultimately you fall into a state of low -action. A place where you doubt the results or worry about the outcome.
Before you know it, the momentum has slowed right up and you are getting less and less progress every day.
The kerb can be avoided….
You can continue to make progress, take action and make the dream a reality.
But first you must learn to handle your limiting beliefs so you can release your inner coach.
If your dream is to help others, then allowing your self to get all-consumed in the excitement kerb, will stop you from reaching your full potential, and stop you helping others.
You must release your inner coach, so you and your clients can reach their full success potential and maintain the momentum.
If your dream is to have your own gym, then you will hear haters, you will hear the doubt, but action can only go forwards if you learn to tame this mental chatter and release your inner coach.
We noticed a trend of New Personal Trainers looking for their dream, but stalled and paralyzed by the excitement kerb.
If this is you, then join us for our next SP1 Workshop: Release Your Inner Coach.
It is all about you finding your inner potential and releasing your inner coach.
It is about you knowing how to control the excitement kerb, about enjoying the highs and avoiding the lows.
